Curriculum
Peterbridge College operates as a tutor centre, and uses the IMPAQ home-school curriculum (CAPS) as its academic foundation.
The IMPAQ home-based curriculum
The IMPAQ home-based curriculum provides students with all the materials they need to successfully complete their respective grades. Subject content is divided into weekly and quarterly schedules, and the tasks, assignments, practicals, tests and examinations as required by CAPS are provided to the center. Students sit for examinations in June and November. The tasks of students in grades ten to twelve are marked by the tutors, but the tests and exams are scanned and uploaded directly to IMPAQ where they are marked and the marks collated. Students attend classes daily from 8:00 to 14:20.

Learning Materials
While the materials supplied by IMPAQ are more than adequate, Peterbridge College is in the process of developing its own materials based on its experience in the classroom and the needs of its students. During the course of 2026 the materials development initiative will take a cross-curricular approach, using key themes to link subjects and avoid compartmentalisation.
